Huang Daopo, also known as Huang Qiao’er, was born in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. Later, she arrived at Yazhou at the southern tip of Hainan Island by ship, which is now Sanya. In the common working and living life with the local people, she learned the local textile technology of ours.
