Ascending from the upper right corner of the Reed Flute Cave Park, one can follow the meandering stone steps, passing through bamboo forests and villas, to reach the Sunrise Viewing Platform in no time. The platform stands approximately four to five meters high. Before dawn, as you wait quietly by the railing, the clouds in the east tremble slightly. A faint beam of light is cast from within the clouds, so subtle and elusive that it is hard to capture. In the blink of an eye, it coalesces into a dark red streak. Gradually, this streak of red light seems to be startled and starts to flow and expand. In an instant, a spectacular display of light and color transforms the world.
