Suyuan Village, located in Lipu Town, Jindong District, Jinhua City, is situated one kilometer east of Lipu Town, backed by the Yiwu River, and 10 kilometers away from the urban area of Jinhua. The Jinyi Dong Expressway runs along the village.
This village has a history of over 440 years and is said to be the gathering place for the descendants of Yan Ziling, a famous figure from the Han Dynasty, and is known as a ‘miraculous village’. Firstly, its environment and appearance are like an ancient longevity lock (originally called Suoyuan, later changed to Suyuan, implying auspiciousness). Secondly, it still preserves many ancient buildings from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Opening hours are from January 1st to December 31st, 08:00 to 17:00. Preferential policies include: 1. Children under 1.2 meters (not including) enter for free. 2. Children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (not including), and seniors over 70 years old can purchase discounted tickets at the scenic area.
