The Taishan Baotailong Tourist Resort is a large-scale comprehensive tourist resort developed with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan by Taian Baotailong Taishan Underground Grand Rift Valley Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The resort is located at the foot of Mount Tai and by the side of the Wenshui River. It is north of Jinan, the provincial capital, and south of Qufu, the hometown of Confucius. It is at the core position of the ‘Friendly Shandong’ landscape and sage tourist route.
The resort covers a total area of 1.28 million square meters. With underground drifting and sightseeing and above-ground leisure and entertainment as the themes, it has projects such as karst cave drifting, rift valley exploration, hot spring recuperation, migratory bird release, domestication and promotion, and Shi Gandang cultural display. The products cover five modules including sightseeing and entertainment, leisure and vacation, catering and shopping, cultural experience, and characteristic performances. It is a large-scale comprehensive green and environmentally friendly leisure resort integrating eating, staying, traveling, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. The Taishan Underground Grand Rift Valley is closely connected to the karst caves formed over hundreds of millions of years. The overall sightseeing length is more than 6,000 meters. Stalactites, stone flowers, stone pillars, stalagmites, stone curtains, and stone waterfalls are all over the cave, forming magical and beautiful pictures. Relying on the abundant underground water resources in the cave, the 4,000-meter underground underground river drifting is the longest underground river drifting so far. The waterway is winding and thrilling. The Taishan Underground Grand Rift Valley is the fault zone of the two mountain ranges of Mount Tai and Mount Cuilai. More than 1,300 meters have been developed and it is several hundred meters deep. The uncanny workmanship and infinite creation of nature have formed a shocking geological wonder. There are more than 4,000 rare birds such as swans and red-crowned cranes in the Grand Rift Valley. Migratory birds can be watched in the park. The large natural wetland in the resort surrounds the entire scenic area. The water golf driving range built on the wetland water system is a characteristic tourism project integrating sports, fitness, leisure, and entertainment. High-level talents and active-duty firefighters: With the ‘Shandong Huicai Card’ and active-duty firefighters with their valid certificates are exempt from scenic area sightseeing tickets, but not free drifting. Students: Full-time college, middle school, and primary school students (excluding adult education and postgraduate students) with student ID cards or the China Higher Education Student Information Network can enjoy a 50% discount on scenic area sightseeing tickets, but not free drifting. Disabled people: Severely disabled people including one accompanying person can enter the park for free sightseeing with their valid certificates. Other levels of disabled people need to be accompanied by an adult with a full-price ticket to enter the park. Other charged items in the scenic area do not enjoy discounts.Attention: People with disability certificates are prohibited from rafting. They are exempted from scenic area sightseeing tickets but not from rafting. Minors aged 6-18 years old: Minors aged 6 years old (inclusive) to 18 years old (exclusive) can enjoy a 50% discount on scenic area tickets with their valid ID cards or household registration booklet pages. They are not exempted from rafting. Active firefighters: With their valid certificates, they are exempted from scenic area sightseeing tickets but not from rafting.
Supplementary note: Children under 1.2 meters, pregnant women, the elderly aged 70 years old (inclusive) or above, people who have drunk alcohol, people weighing 200 catties (inclusive) or more, people 1.9 meters (inclusive) or taller, people with disabilities and people suffering from heart disease, hypertension, mental illness and other diseases are prohibited from rafting.
