Taiping Rock: Situated between the towering Shuangsun Peak that rises abruptly from the ground. Surrounded by misty clouds, it gives visitors a feeling of floating towards a fairyland. The couplet on the mountain gate, ‘Bestowing grace to guests from spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and benefiting people from east, west, south, and north,’ conveys a sense of warmth. In front of the mountain gate, there are steep steps, with a massive rock known as ‘Pig Head Rock’ in the center. Beyond Pig Head Rock lies the Hu Gong Hall.

Hu Gong Hall: With its unique design, it is nestled among the dense forest, making it an excellent destination for religious tourism. Also known as Yutian Liao, it was originally built during the Tianqi years of the Ming Dynasty (1621-1627) and the existing structure was rebuilt in the 18th year of the Guangxu period (1894). The main hall’s architecture is simple and elegant, backed by a huge cliff, with the pure and clear Nanxi River water flowing quietly in front. Amidst the tall trees and bamboo shadows, the temple’s eaves and corners are faintly visible, resembling a fairy dwelling or an idyllic retreat.

It is a natural cave, approximately 10 meters in height, width, and depth, facing a cliff and opposite to the Wulei Mountain. Inside the cave, nine deities are enshrined, said to have been built during the Ming Dynasty, with a thriving incense.
