The Taishan Peony Cultural Industry Park spans over 300 acres and boasts over 700 precious varieties from six countries around the world, showcasing more than 400,000 peonies with nine major color groups and ten flower types. From mid to late April to mid-May, early, mid, and late blooming flowers bloom sequentially, including rare varieties such as Yao Huang, Dou Lu, Wei Zi, Hua Jun, Wulong Peng Sheng, Guan Shi Mo Yu, Jin Ge, Dao Jin, Lv Mu, and Er Qiao, displaying the elegance of the ‘King of Flowers’.
Within the park, there are traditional agricultural crops as well as modern leisure tourism and sightseeing. ‘Two main lines’ refer to one for product cultivation and processing, and the other for leisure sightseeing tourism. ‘Three major sectors’ include oil peony cultivation, processing, and scientific promotion, flower and seedling cultivation and sales, and leisure sightseeing and vacation tourism. ‘Six functional areas’ include the ecological sightseeing garden, ecological experience garden, peony cultivation garden, peony culture museum, scientific research center, and product processing area. The park is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
