The Taishan Underground Grand Canyon is intimately connected with the karst caves formed over hundreds of millions of years, with an overall length of more than 6000 meters for sightseeing. Inside the cave, stone flowers, stone pillars, stone stalagmites, stone curtains, and stone waterfalls are scattered throughout, creating a series of fascinating pictures. Relying on the abundant groundwater resources, a 4000-meter underground river rafting has been developed, which is one of the longest underground river rafting experiences to date, with a winding and thrilling waterway.
The Taishan Underground Grand Canyon is located at the fault zone between Mount Tai and Mount Zuliao, with over 1300 meters developed and reaching depths of hundreds of meters. The extraordinary craftsmanship of nature and its infinite creativity have formed awe-inspiring geological wonders. The Grand Canyon features a large-scale domestic migratory bird release base – Swan Release Island, which is home to more than 4000 swans, red-crowned cranes, and other birds. Operating hours are from April 1st to September 29th, 08:40-17:30; and from October 7th to March 31st, 08:40-17:00.
