Taiwu Resort Town, also known as Taiwu Ski and Mountain Resort, is a distinctive North American-style ski resort town that operates all year round and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, within the core area of the 2022 grand event, it is adjacent to the Taizicheng High-Speed Railway Station and is 168 kilometers away from Beijing.
The town is invested and built by Chongli Taiwu Tourism Resort Co., Ltd., with a total project area of 40 square kilometers and an investment of over 20 billion yuan, making it one of the largest integrated ski resorts in China. The ‘Running Dancers’ track has hosted the International Ski Federation Freestyle Skiing Snowboard Technique World Cup for four consecutive sessions. During summer, Taiwu’s average temperature is 8-12 degrees cooler than Beijing’s, with its dense forests acting as a natural oxygen bar and an outdoor sports venue.
