Tangdao Bay Seaside Park is located in Huangdao District on the west coast of Qingdao City. It is a large coastal park built around the two capes of Tangdao Bay, divided into two areas: the North Bank and the South Bank, earning the reputation of ‘West Lake on the Sea’ and ‘West Garden of Qingdao’. With its rippling blue waves and gathering seagulls, Tangdao Bay features eight sea-viewing platforms and sightseeing boardwalks, three floating docks, a nearly 70,000 square meter yacht dock, and an 8-kilometer beautiful fence, all exuding the atmosphere of a modern seaside.
The seaside park, adjacent to the sea, stretches 4.5 kilometers from east to west, with themes of ‘sailing, canal, love, and sports’, integrating culture, fashion, and experience. It has planned and constructed themed tourist areas such as the Dock Leisure Village, Seaside Eden, Seaside Leisure Plaza, Public Art Park, Canal Plaza, Seaside Sports and Leisure Center, and Ecological Leisure Park. Within the park, quiet bridges, babbling brooks, and blooming flowers make one feel as if they are in a southern water town. The park is open all year round from 10:00 to 19:00.
