Tanglang Mountain Country Park is located in the northeast of Nanshan District, Shenzhen. To the north of the mountain is the Pingnan Railway. To the south are Beihuan Avenue and Longzhu Avenue. The west end ends at Honghualing, and the east extends into Futian District. Looking north, there are Xili Reservoir, Changlingpi Reservoir, Yangtaishan Mountain, and Shenzhen Safari Park. Looking south, there is Shenzhen Bay and OCT.
The total area is about 15,000 mu. The main peak of Tanglang Mountain is 430.8 meters above sea level, higher than that of Dananshan Mountain at 336 meters above sea level and lower than the three main peaks of Wutong Mountain with an average altitude of 780 meters. At the mountainside, you can already see the border river between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and you can see the全貌 of Nanshan District and Futian District. You can feel the extremely ‘flat and wide’ terrain of Shenzhen. Climbing to the top of Tanglang Mountain, you can enjoy the landscape where mountains, cities, and seas depend on and blend with each other inside and outside the special zone. If you climb to the top at night, the magnificent night view of Shenzhen unfolds in front of you: a vast sea of lights and flickering lights. Under the interlacing of Longzhu Avenue, Beihuan Avenue, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, Shennan Avenue, Binhai Avenue, and Shahexi Avenue, you can fully see the grace and prosperity of Nanshan District and Futian District in Shenzhen. On a large rock at the top of the mountain are clearly written these two sentences: ‘Climbing mountains cures all diseases, and all diseases are afraid of climbing mountains.’ Open all year round from 07:30 to 22:00.
