Tangshan Temple is located in Tangshanping, Jiaodao Town, Wuyi County. It was first built in the first year of Dayuan in the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than 700 years. It is a famous Buddhist temple with a long history and is renowned for its exquisite architecture and spectacular natural landscape.


Since its establishment, Tangshan Temple has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. During the heyday of the Ming Dynasty, there were more than 500 monks in the temple and the incense was prosperous.


Now, in Tangshan Temple, there are the Grand Hall of Sakyamuni, the Yuantong Hall, and the Kṣitigarbha Hall. On both sides are auxiliary facilities such as bell towers, drum towers, Pharmacist Hall, Prince Hall, Harmony Hall, Earth God Hall, study room, dining hall, guest hall, merit archway, and buildings.
