Located 13 kilometers northwest of Tiantai County in the upper Baoxiang Village, Taoyuan Pit. This is a deep and steep valley where the stream meanders with the mountain terrain, and the cliffs on both banks are uneven, resembling a series of embroidered screens. The emerald green and snowy waterfalls are interspersed among them, known as the Peach Blossom Valley.
Taoyuan is famous for its Twin Maidens Peak. Zheng Zhidao of the Northern Song Dynasty mentioned in ‘Liu Ruan Cave Record’: ‘The eastern peak is steep and extraordinary, with two stones resembling coiled hair buns, hence named Twin Maidens Peak.’ Following the stream upstream, the green water stretches like lake wrinkles, revealing attractions such as ‘Fairy Bath Tub,’ ‘Old Dragon Spraying Water,’ Swallowtail Waterfall, Fairy Stone, Enchanted Valley, Meeting Fairy Stone, Immortal Cave, Melancholy Stream, Mingyuk Brook, and Golden Bridge Pond. Among them, from Molingtou Village, one can wind southwest down, climb the cliffs between two mountains, and use a long ladder to see ‘Taoyuan Cave.’ Nearby, there is a flat area.
