Taoyuanxi is located in the northern suburbs of Fuzhou City, in Rixi Township, known for its lush vegetation, clear streams, and pleasant climate, making it an ideal destination for tourism and leisure. The tranquil mountain stream is crystal clear and spotless. The stream flows gently, sometimes silently moving away, sometimes joyfully singing, with deep pools of water resembling emerald swimming pools, tranquil and serene.
The main attractions of Taoyuanxi include Pouxi Tan, Changgang Tan, Huangnan Tan, Shiba Tan, Alligator Tan, and Niaoyu Tan, among others. Additionally, there are seven interesting sights: Octopus Tree, Spring Eye, Fish Leaping Dragon Vine, Multi-jointed Grass, Reviving Dead Wood, Cliff Forest, and Qiuqu Creek. The stream divides the seven pools into several sections, each with its own characteristics, allowing visitors to appreciate the beautiful scenery and play in the water.

Among the activities, the rafting project is particularly popular among tourists. Taoyuanxi rafting is famous for its thrill and excitement; the total drop throughout the course is about 80 meters, with the largest drop section being 4 meters. Seventy percent of those who raft at Taoyuanxi will capsize here, but it is thrilling without danger, as the safety factor of Taoyuanxi rafting is quite high! Another feature of Taoyuanxi rafting is that the thrilling sections are concentrated. The upper 2.5 kilometers are all thrilling, and screams can be heard echoing through the valley from the moment you start rafting; the lower 1.5 kilometers are a calm area.
