Yantai Tashan Ski Resort is located at the foot of Tashan, on the southern end of Yantai City Center, with a construction area of about 25,000 square meters in the first phase. It is the first artificial outdoor ski resort in the Jiaodong region and one of the largest city ski resorts in China currently. Surrounded by green pines and cypresses, the resort boasts fresh air and a pleasant environment, with convenient transportation. The ski resort has introduced Canadian artificial snow-making equipment and over 900 sets of Japanese imported ski equipment. The average snow depth is 70 centimeters, equipped with advanced ropeways in China, and features a beginner’s slope of 150 meters, an intermediate slope of 380 meters, and a snow circle lane of 130 meters. It can accommodate 700 people for skiing and snow circle activities, with a daily capacity of over 3000 visitors. More than ten professional ski instructors provide full-time teaching and guidance, allowing beginners to master skiing skills in a short time. In 2012, the resort newly introduced ‘magic carpet’ conveyor equipment, 300 sets of ski equipment, and ski clothing.
