Tea Mountain Forest Park Scenic Area, situated in the northwest of Da Luo Mountain and facing the main urban area of Wenzhou across the Sanyang water network, is a gem of natural beauty. This scenic area is renowned for its typical and concentrated granite landform landscapes within Da Luo Mountain, featuring unique shapes, profound and mysterious cave landscapes, and the magnificently dangerous Wulongxi Gorge and waterfall landscapes.
Among the main attractions, Wu Mei Jingyuan, Wolong, Shan Chong Lou, Xiangshan Temple, and Hua Guo Shan stand out. Notably, Xiangshan Temple is a significant Buddhist temple in the Da Luo Mountain area, representing the religious tourism attractions of the entire scenic area. Additionally, the Wenzhou Higher Education Zone is nestled on the western slope of Tea Mountain.
Wu Mei Jingyuan, spanning an area of 60,000 square meters, is a highlight of the forest park. It boasts a cool, lush environment with a variety of flowers and plants interwoven, vegetation akin to a well-maintained lawn, and evergreen throughout the year. The park is home to many animals, creating a thriving ecosystem.
The park is also a sanctuary for a number of rare animals, including sika deer, black bears, ostriches, peacocks, and black swans. Attractions within the park include the Water Curtain Cave, Mo Tian Ling, an imitation Great Wall, beacon towers, a bird park, a water park, an ancient embroidered building, and a patriotic education base commemorating Lin Zexu’s anti-smoking campaign. Visitors can also explore osmanthus and bayberry forests, as well as a group of lifelike giant sculptures depicting animals like lions and bulls.
Entertainment options abound, with exciting programs such as equestrian ancient plays and ethnic dances, and self-service activities including camping barbecues, boating, karaoke, and horse riding, ensuring a memorable experience for all who visit.The park is open all year round, operating 24 hours a day.
