Ciyun Mountain, also known as Temple Hill, is situated in the Wong Tai Sin District. Historically, it was a hub for troubled youth due to the prevalence of public housing estates in the vicinity. During the 1980s, a notorious youth gang, ‘The Thirteen Protectors of Temple Hill,’ emerged from this district.

However, with the expansion of the local population and the subsequent redevelopment of the old district, the area has undergone a significant transformation. It is now not only free from the youth issues of the past but also exudes a renewed vibrancy. A testament to this change is the presence of one of the school villages constructed by the government in the 2000s with substantial investment, which is located right here in Temple Hill.
