This is a three-story red-brick building located at Hui Ji West Road, Hui Ji West Second Alley, where a lifelike bronze statue of a newspaper boy stands at the corner. This is the temporary office location of The Ta Kung Pao, which remains well-preserved. On June 17, 1902, The Ta Kung Pao was born in Tianjin and has become one of the newspapers with a longer lifespan in Chinese history. This temporary office location was the rented office space from 1912 to 1923. At that time, the design of the temporary office location revealed the new ideas of returned overseas Chinese, but many details such as carvings and window grilles also exude the charm of traditional Chinese architecture.
