Tengtou Village is renowned both domestically and internationally for its distinctive ecological tourism area, characterized by ‘ecological agriculture’, ‘multi-dimensional agriculture’, and the ‘clear water, blue sky’ green project.
Since receiving the United Nations ‘Global 500 Roll of Honour for Environmental Achievement’ in 1993,滕头村 has been honored with over forty national awards, including being designated as a National Ecological Demonstration Zone, one of the first National Civilized Villages, a National Environmental Education Base, and one of the first National 4A-level tourist attractions.
Now, it has been upgraded to a 5A-level tourist attraction and is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
