Tengtou Village is renowned both domestically and internationally for its unique ecological tourism area, characterized by ‘ecological agriculture’, ‘multi-level agriculture’, and the ‘clear water, blue sky’ greening project. Since being awarded the United Nations ‘Global 500 Roll of Honour for Environmental Achievement’ in 1993, Tentou Village has garnered over forty national honors. These include the National Ecological Demonstration Zone, one of the first National Civilized Villages, a National Environmental Education Base, and one of the first National 4A-level tourist attractions.
It has now been upgraded to a 5A-level tourist attraction and is open all year round, with full-day access.
