Every year, pyrotechnic teams from around the globe compete in the Macao International Fireworks Display Contest. The city’s skyline is illuminated by a myriad of lights, and the crowd buzzes with excitement akin to electric sparks. Choreographed to music and laser projections, the performances add an extra layer of enchantment to the event. This year marks the 32nd edition, with teams from Thailand, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Canada, Romania, and China vying for the championship. The event is open on September 14th-15th, Saturday-Sunday; September 21st, Saturday; October 1st, Tuesday; October 6th, Sunday, with specific operational status subject to daily opening conditions.
