Sap Saam Ngok Road, formerly known as Si Meng Street, originates from the now-demolished Si Meng Wharf. This road is well-known for the Hong Kong drama ‘Moonlight of the Fifth Day of October’ and is a residential area for local Macau residents, being one of the bustling streets in Macau. Over the years, many famous shops have closed down, including the once-popular Luk Kok Tea House and Heng Lam Chong Distillery, which is regrettable due to various reasons.
However, the current Lo Yong Kat Tong on Sap Saam Ngok Road is an old-style herbal tea shop in Macau and was also the filming location for the final episode of the Korean drama ‘Palace’. There are many delicious restaurants along the road, and the quiet and narrow street, with blue skies, white clouds, and swaying tree shadows, is also a beautiful scenic spot in Coloane. The road is open all year round, 24/7, with specific business hours subject to daily operations.Sap Saam Ngok Road
