In the First Stele Forest in the Three Gorges, on the walls of an antique corridor nearly 200 meters long in the park, more than 100 poetry and painting steles are inlaid. The poetry steles are engraved with excellent works of Zhuzhici about the Three Gorges by more than 30 poets such as Liu Yuxi, Bai Juyi, Fan Chengda, Gu Kuang, Gao Qi, Yang Shen, and Sun Guangxian since the Tang and Song Dynasties. Its content mainly describes the mountain scenery and water colors, customs and folk customs in Kuizhou area, with a strong local color. In addition to Liu Yuxi’s “Nine Pieces of Zhuzhici” written by Huang Tingjian of the Northern Song Dynasty on the steles, the calligraphy on the steles is mainly the masterpieces of more than 80 contemporary famous calligraphers across the country.
