The former residence of the British Consulate in Xiamen, located at No. 5, Zhangzhou Road, Gulangyu Island, Xiamen, is a beautiful mansion hidden among the green trees. Today, it has become an exhibition hall of Xiamen Jinquan Coin Museum.
The former British Consulate building on Gulangyu Island is a three-story red-brick building. The corners are made of bricks and stones, and the structure is square and rigorous.
