Many stage art masterpieces will offer affordable ticket prices, allowing audiences in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to share the achievements of Zhuhai’s urban literary and artistic prosperity and development. The art festival will link up Zhuhai Grand Theater, Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theater, Jinwan Art Center, Hengqin Culture and Art Center, etc., bringing large-scale dance dramas such as ‘Li Bai’ by the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater, the Kunqu masterpiece ‘The Peony Pavilion’ by the Suzhou Kunqu Theatre of Jiangsu Province, the original English musical ‘Cats’, the original English drama ‘Jane Eyre’, the original French musical ‘Notre-Dame de Paris’, and the original puppet show ‘Dragons and Mythical Creatures’ from the West End of London. The local original literary and artistic boutique dance drama ‘Bride on the Water’ and drama ‘Broken Wild Goose and Lone Wild Goose’ created and produced by Zhuhai Performing Arts Group will also make their appearances at this art festival. In addition, Zhuhai’s local high-quality female voice choir – the Sixteenth Note Female Voice Choir will hold a special concert. During the art festival, the 19th China International Photographic Art Exhibition will open in Zhuhai. This exhibition is an important international photographic art exhibition with the longest history, largest scale, and extensive influence hosted by the China Photographers Association. This is also the first time that Zhuhai has cooperated with the China Photographers Association to hold a high-standard international photographic art exhibition. The exhibition includes a series of themed activities such as the main exhibition, guest-of-honor country exhibition, invitation exhibition, and international photographic art themed lectures. It will comprehensively present the achievements made in photographic art in various countries in recent years and promote the exchange, integration, and development of photographic cultures of various countries in the world. Zhuhai Museum will launch the ‘Eternal Chang’an – Essence Exhibition of Tang Dynasty Cultural Relics in Shaanxi’. The exhibition takes the civilization of Chang’an in the Tang Dynasty as the theme and selects representative Tang Dynasty cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi, including pottery figurines, gold and silver wares, jade wares, etc. It reproduces the prosperous Tang Dynasty from multiple perspectives and dimensions, allowing viewers to wander among the dazzling ‘Tang Dynasty treasures’ and experience the prosperous atmosphere of the famous capital Chang’an. During the art festival, Zhuhai Chinese Orchestra will jointly bring the ‘Music Moves Dream Bay’ Chinese orchestral concert with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Wuxi Chinese Orchestra. The China Youth National Orchestra will bring the ‘Joyful Movement in Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation Zone’ series of concerts with the Macao Conservatory and the Macao Youth Choir. In addition, Yao Jue and the Hong Kong String Orchestra will bring the ‘Guangdong Cantonese Opera Fantasia’ concert. The Frost Snow Experimental Theatre Troupe from Macao will bring the children’s play ‘Naughty After-School Care’. At that time, the ’25 Years of Contemporary Art in Macao’ exhibition will also be held. Outdoor special events such as the ‘Music Rhythm by the Sea’ benefit concert, ‘pop-up’ shows, and interactive literary and artistic performances create a ‘theater without walls’ for citizens and tourists, allowing people to encounter art and integrate art into the city, bringing a new artistic experience full of trend and youthfulness.
