In 1854, the first US consul in Fuzhou, Charles William Bradley, arrived. Two Western-style buildings were built on Duihu Road (now No. 84 Maiyuan Road) as the consulate premises.
The office building faces east from the west. It is a two-story building with a brick-wood structure. The exterior wall is white. There are doors on one side and windows on two sides inside. The doors and windows are tall, providing good lighting and ventilation conditions. It is now the library of Fuzhou Health School.

The other staff dormitory is a three-story Western-style building with a red brick-wood structure. A music concert is held in the small auditorium on the third floor every Saturday night. Music lovers can enter for free to enjoy it. The total construction area of the above two buildings is 2,076.68 square meters. The staff dormitory building has been demolished and rebuilt into student dormitories.

Opening hours: Open from 09:00 – 17:00 throughout the year
