The museum covers a total area of 3100 square meters. There are exhibition halls such as ‘Hangzhou Chapter of National Independence and People’s Liberation’, ‘Hangzhou Memories of Promoting Socialist Revolution and Construction’, and ‘Hangzhou Practice of the Road of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics’. There are more than 600 pictures and more than 6000 collections. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 9:00 – 16:30. Must-see tips: First, for group visits, please make a phone reservation in advance and bring a letter from the unit for the visit. Second, do not smoke or litter casually in the venue, and consciously maintain environmental hygiene. Third, prohibit team tour guides or other personnel from using audio guides to explain or making inappropriate remarks. Fourth, do not bring large suitcases, various types of controlled knives, lighters, CDs, dangerous goods and pets into the venue (see the ‘List of Items Prohibited from Being Brought into the Museum’ of this museum for details), and consciously accept the inspection of security personnel. Fifth, please tidy up your clothes before visiting. Those who are sloppily dressed are refused entry. Please consciously maintain the visiting order. Do not make loud noises, run, chase, climb or lie down. Set your mobile phone to silent mode so as not to affect others’ visits. Please rest in the designated area. Do not touch cultural relics and exhibition fixtures when visiting. Selfie sticks, tripods, flashlights and other photographic equipment are not allowed to be brought into the venue.
