The Legend of Shenyou Show vividly displays the essence of the 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization. The story is divided into a prologue and six main chapters, narrating various strange stories and legends of the Chinese land since the creation of the world by Pangu, including the gifts of heaven to China, ancestral tribes, the phoenix’s rebirth, the Eight Immortals’ celebration, the journey to seek immortality in the east, the rise of the divine dragon, and the blessings of heaven to China. The perseverance of Hou Yi in shooting the suns, the beauty of Chang’e flying to the moon, the grandeur of the mountains and volcanic eruptions during Yu the Great’s flood control, the tranquil waves and small bridges of the idyllic retreat, the grand momentum of dragons and tigers leaping, and the prosperity in front of the Taiping Zen Temple, all unfold in front of the audience. Without leaving their seats, they can enjoy the comprehensive 360-degree performances surrounding land, water, and air across time and space.
