The interactive ‘Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival’ was displayed at the China Pavilion during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, based on the famous Northern Song Dynasty painting by Zhang Zeduan. This digital artwork vividly and realistically depicts the prosperous and peaceful scene during the Northern Song period. Created by Crystal Stone Company, this large-scale digital artwork shone brightly at the Expo, representing the perfect fusion of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary technology.



The artwork measures 128 meters in length and 6.5 meters in height, magnified 100 times compared to the original, and comes in two versions: day and night, featuring a total of 1068 characters, with 691 characters during the day and 377 at night. It is open to the public all year round from 09:00 to 22:00.
