The Old Summer Palace · Time Bus
Experience an immersive high-tech cultural theme park centered around the Old Summer Palace with ‘The Old Summer Palace · Time Bus’. This project leverages cutting-edge technologies such as 3D real scene scanning, three-dimensional modeling, geo-sensing, weather sensing, real-time rendering, MR (Mixed Reality), and XR (Extended Reality) to offer a customized technological tour bus.
As visitors sit inside the bus, they are treated to a 1:1 restored view of historical buildings and characters superimposed onto real landscapes, creating a dreamlike scene that doesn’t require special glasses. This unique experience instantly transports visitors back in time to the splendor of the Old Summer Palace as it was hundreds of years ago.
Guided by audio narration, visitors feel as if they are walking through the palace in its prime. The immersive storytelling not only entertains but also educates, allowing them to experience the ups and downs of the palace’s history and deepening their understanding and appreciation of the cultural and historical significance of the Old Summer Palace.
