The Grand Secretariat Hall, also known as the Hall of the Grand Secretaries, served as the residence for the Grand Secretaries of the Qing Dynasty. It is located outside the southeastern corner of the Taihe Gate. The hall faces south and consists of three main rooms, with three rooms on both the eastern and western sides, all featuring gabled roofs covered with yellow glazed tiles.
Facing east and west is the Han Ticket Office, with the middle room being the place where the attendants draft proposals, the northern room for the calligraphers to copy the true proposals, and the southern room for storing official documents; facing west and east is the Mongolian Hall. Opening hours and business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions. The Palace Museum – The Grand Secretariat Hall
