The Ruins of Yuanmingyuan Park – Celestial Terrace for Immortals

Introduction:
The bottom bluestone of the Celestial Terrace for Immortals in the Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park is about 1.28 meters high. The brick square fairy platform is about 0.96 meters high. The circular stone Xumizuo is about 2.66 meters high. The copper immortal’s lotus seat is about 2.43 meters high. The total height is less than 8 meters. The copper figure was probably built during the Jiaqing period. It was originally a copper statue. After the park was destroyed, the copper statue was lost. The Celestial Terrace for Immortals currently standing at the original site is a later recreated black jade stone carving. The style and size are all in accordance with the Tibetan pictures of the Qing Dynasty.
