The Summer Palace Museum was officially established on September 28, 2021. It is located on the east side of Wenchang Pavilion on the east bank of Kunming Lake. The cultural relics exhibition hall covers an area of 2777 square meters. The architecture of the Summer Palace Museum is in the form of a traditional Chinese quadrangle. The central exhibition hall has five bays in width and three bays in front. It is connected to four independent exhibition halls through corridors. Surrounded by cloisters, it forms four relatively separated courtyards.
Opening hours: From April 1 to October 31, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00 – 18:00; From November 1 to March 31, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 – 17:00; Closed all day on Mondays throughout the year (except for legal holidays).The Summer Palace Museum
