The Thirteen Hongs Museum is located on the site of the Thirteen Hongs Merchant District in the Qing Dynasty (in Guangzhou Cultural Park, 37 Xidi Erma Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province). It covers an area of 3,060 square meters and has a total construction area of 6,090 square meters. Currently, there are more than 2,300 cultural relics (sets) in the museum. The permanent exhibitions include ‘The History Exhibition of the Thirteen Hongs in Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty’ and ‘The Special Exhibition Room Display of Cultural Relics from the Thirteen Hongs Period Donated by Wang Heng and Feng Jie Couple’. The museum has more than 2,300 pieces (sets) of cultural relics in its collection. In the form of ‘cultural relics + historical documents and materials’, it showcases the history of the Thirteen Hongs.
Opening hours: From January 1st to September 30th, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:30; from October 8th to December 31st, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:30; on Mondays from January 1st to September 30th, closed all day; on Mondays from October 8th to December 31st, closed all day; from October 1st to October 7th, open from 09:00 – 17:30.
