The ‘Mountain of Five Hundred Arhats’ is located in the Dharma Wheel Hall. The entire mountain structure is carved from rosewood, featuring layers of peaks and towers scattered throughout. Five hundred Arhats, cast in gold, silver, copper, iron, and tin, are placed among them. These figures are depicted in various poses such as preaching the Dharma, subduing dragons and tigers, riding cranes, sitting, lying down, intoxicated, thoughtful, laughing, or in a trance. Each figure is vividly portrayed with distinct expressions and lifelike details, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the carvings.
