Yiyun Hall is one of the famous structures within the Summer Palace, originally constructed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. It was damaged and later reconstructed during the Guangxu period. Yiyun Hall served as the residence of Emperor Guangxu’s empress, Empress Longyu.
