In the three years since I started working as a general assistant, accompanying my boss on business trips is a big part of my job, which involves meetings, receptions, dinners, and other activities.
This time, let me share some common things to note when traveling on business trips!

[1] Weather at the destination
Carry rain gear and supplies;
If there is extreme weather, report to the leader immediately and discuss changing the time or making a Plan B.
[2] Itinerary
Prepare air tickets, train tickets, and vehicles, plan the route, and control time
Related information;
Check to make sure nothing is left out. You can make a backup of important documents and documents. You need to know in advance about the clients you are meeting and the partners you are visiting.

[3] Luggage
Pay attention to the model of your boss’s mobile phone and bring an extra charging cable. Since my boss is a woman, I also bring a sample of her commonly used skin care products of the same brand and other hygiene items, such as disposable clothing and toilet seats.

[4] Act early
Never let your boss wait for you. Similarly, prepare various solutions before your boss makes a request, such as going to the airport in advance to familiarize yourself with the route, preparing breakfast in advance, booking a car in advance, and preparing souvenirs in advance.

[5] Take notes with you
Daily work requires a memo with you, and business travel is even more indispensable. I usually write down the keywords in my notes + mobile phone notes, and then go back and sort them out step by step;
Because recording and videotaping can easily cause unnecessary trouble, I personally don’t like to use them.

[6] Clothing and makeup
A decent business style is fine. Avoid skirts. After all, pants are more convenient for business travel and can avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble;
Makeup should not be too heavy. Daily commuting makeup is enough, which can also save yourself time.

[7] Correct your attitude
Business trips are not tourism. You are here to work. Your primary purpose is not to take photos and post them on social media. You should focus 100% on your boss and work, and serve and assist your boss throughout the trip.
At the same time, I personally carry a small book with me. E-books are also fine, but my eyes will become dry after looking at the screen for a long time. When I encounter a long wait or journey, I will avoid falling asleep. Reading can keep my mind clear and help me deal with emergencies.
