Thousand Steps Ladder is located on the eastern side of Daluo Mountain, at the foot of the mountain in Longwan Sanjia Zhengao, Wenzhou City. It was originally constructed as an auxiliary road for the water pipeline from Tianhe Reservoir to the hydropower station.

Daluo Mountain’s Thousand Steps Ladder connects Longwan District to the east, Rui’an City to the south, spans Ouhai District to the west, and is backed by the BaiLi Oujiang to the north. The mountain has an elliptical shape and serves as a natural barrier for the urban area of Wenzhou City.

Close to the East China Sea, Daluo Mountain has an open and imposing presence, with a purple aura coming from the east, nurturing the graceful and beautiful natural scenery.

The Thousand Steps Ladder is open all year round, with full-day access.
