The Three Kingdoms Cultural Plaza is located in the eastern part of Pingyuan County’s new city, covering an area of 183,000 square meters, with a water surface area of 100,000 square meters and a water storage capacity of 450,000 cubic meters. Surrounding the lake, you can find auspicious cloud platforms, water-friendly platforms, boat docks, commercial squares, and children’s parks.
The plaza is imbued with unique Three Kingdoms cultural hues, excavating the distinctive Three Kingdoms culture of Pingyuan County, recreating the grand and splendid characteristics of the Han and Wei dynasties’ culture, and narrating the anecdotes and legends of Liu Bei sitting in Pingyuan. The layout of sculptures is carried out along two narrative threads: the central axis sculptures running through the north and south gates and the group sculptures distributed around the lake. The design of the central axis sculptures highlights the vertical development of Pingyuan from the past to the present, reflecting a review of history and a vision for the future. The sculptures around the lake recreate the historical picture of science, culture, and folk customs during the Han and Wei periods, presenting a rich array of historical knowledge elements through pleasing artistic forms, creating a cordial and natural interaction with visitors. Opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.Three Kingdoms Cultural Plaza
