Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing. It is 880 meters long from north to south and 500 meters wide from east to west, with an area of 440,000 square meters and can accommodate one million people to hold grand gatherings. Along the central axis of Beijing from north to south in the square stand the national flagpole, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and Zhengyangmen Gate Tower in turn. 3. Reservations are divided into four time periods: ‘flag raising’, ‘morning’, ‘afternoon’ and ‘flag lowering’. The’morning’ period is from the end of the daily flag raising ceremony to 12:00. The ‘afternoon’ period is from 12:00 every day to the late closing time point of Tiananmen Square. The ‘flag lowering’ period is from 1 hour before the daily flag lowering time point to the evening closing time point of Tiananmen Square. Each time period can be reserved once a day.
4. After a successful reservation, it can be cancelled. Each reservation can be cancelled up to three times a day. If it is cancelled more than three times, it cannot be reserved again on the same day. You can click ‘Reservation Records’ on the homepage of the reservation platform. After opening the reservation record interface, find the reservation record to be cancelled and click the ‘Cancel Reservation’ button.
5. If the reservation is successful but the verification is not completed and the reservation is not cancelled, it is regarded as a no-show. For tourists who have reserved multiple time periods, if there is one successful verification on the same day, it is not regarded as a no-show.
