Tianhe Grand View Wetland Park is located on Sili Road in Tianhe District, near the Tianhe Software Park, and is easily accessible by multiple bus routes.
As a pilot project for Guangzhou’s ‘Sponge City’ initiative, the park employs the principles of ‘Sponge City’ to integrate and utilize rainwater from the site and its surroundings, creating an urban rainwater wetland corridor and sunken green spaces. The park features a variety of plants such as jacarandas, canna lilies, reeds, and bald cypress, along with amenities like rest stations, lakes, wooden boardwalks, and a fan photo wall, making it an ideal leisure spot for local residents. Every November, the park is at its autumnal best, with reeds rustling by the lake, canna lilies withering, and the lake water shimmering under the sunlight. The bald cypresses along the greenway to the north of the park gradually change from green to red, creating a rich tapestry of red, green, and orange hues.
