The exact construction date of Tian Hou Ancient Temple is unverifiable, but it is estimated to have a history of over a hundred years. At the entrance of the temple, there stands a unique pair of stone lions. Due to the Cultural Revolution at the time, it was impossible to purchase ready-made stone lions, so local artisans were commissioned to carve them. The lions are reclining, facing each other, and are referred to by the locals as the Wealth-Bringing Lions.
