Located in the Shapu Town, Dinghu District, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, the Tianhu Egret Ecological Scenic Area spans over 2000 acres of lake surface. Ripples spread across the water, creating a serene ambiance, while butterflies and bees dance along the shores, adding vibrancy and spirit to the park. In this pristine environment, tens of thousands of egrets reside, making it a paradise for these birds. From a distance, one can see flocks of egrets, primarily white egrets and night herons, with a few pond herons as well.
On the banks, a variety of ornamental flowers such as lavender and butterfly flowers are planted in rotation, alongside purely ecological agricultural products like papayas, gourds, starfruits, water grapes, watermelons, and longans. The sight of white egrets taking flight is a spectacle, with thousands of acres of pristine wetlands where flowers bloom, trees are lush, and fish leap while egrets fly, presenting a purely natural ecological beauty that captivates and mesmerizes visitors. The scenic area is open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00.
