The Tianhu Scenic Area is located among the mountains to the north of the Maichai’ao Reservoir. It is a typical Danxia landform. It is about 28 kilometers from Ningbo to the scenic area. Cars can drive directly there. There are many spacious wastelands along the way where you can park. The mountain peaks here are majestic. The rock strata of the Danxia landform are semi-exposed among the mountains. The vegetation on the mountain top is lush. Looking out over the Maichai’ao Reservoir from the top of the mountain, the green lakes are like pearls dotted on the earth. Tourists can stroll along the hiking trail and feel the fresh air and the tranquility of nature.
