Tianji Longmen Scenic Area, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, is one of the main attractions of the Ziwei Mountain Scenic Area, a national forest park and provincial scenic spot, located 30 kilometers away from the city of Quzhou. The area is renowned for its canyons, peculiar peaks, sheer cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. Within the area, peaks stand tall and canyons crisscross. The deep valleys with a relative height difference of one kilometer feature streams that are sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, with sudden steepness and flatness.
The peak forest landscape is majestic, grand, and bright, while the water landscape is imposing. The legend of the dragon adds a layer of mystery to the Tianji Longmen Scenic Area. The nine sons of the dragon, each with their own preferences, differ in form and character due to the different essences of mountains and waters they possess. The five dragon bridges, nine dragon pavilions, Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate, Longxian Hot Spring, Longtan Waterfall, and Feitian Suspension Bridge in the scenic area all contain the mysterious dragon culture. The Dragon Palace, located at an altitude of one kilometer, has buildings suspended in the air with upturned eaves and corners, creating a magical and spectacular scene. Inside the Dragon Palace, the Dragon King is majestic and dignified, while the dragon sons and daughters are vividly lifelike. The ‘Flying Dragon in the Sky’ plank road, nearly 2 kilometers long, spans the entire scenic area, winding and undulating among cliffs and crags, as if a dragon is reappearing with extraordinary skills. The boundless scenery is all within view, leaving people in awe. The glass plank road on the cliffs and crags allows one to walk in the air, with the handsome canyons all within view. The handsome canyon scenery at the bottom is visible at a glance, and walking forward surrounded by mountains feels like walking on clouds, experiencing the essence of Tianji Longmen. The Feilong Zip Line, 358 meters long and with a drop of 108 meters, is safe and thrilling. It allows one to experience flying across the sky, overlooking the sky, and saves the effort of walking down the mountain.The full text is open all year round from 08:30 to 16:30.
