The Tianjin Jixian National Geopark was established with the approval of the Ministry of Land and Resources of the country on December 10, 2001. Its scope starts from Jiudingshan in the north and reaches Fujunshan in the south; it extends to Baxianshan in the east and Panshan in the west, covering an area of 342 square kilometers. According to the principle of scenic area division, the Tianjin Jixian National Geopark is divided into seven scenic areas: 1.
