The Tianluo Mountain Site is one of the prehistoric village sites with well-preserved ground environment and relatively complete underground remains found to date in the Hemudu Culture. The multi-layered stilt buildings, wharfs, and monolithic bridges discovered at the site hold key value for the study of Hemudu Culture settlements.
The Tianluo Mountain Site Museum covers an area of over 20,000 square meters, with a construction area of more than 5,000 square meters, consisting of two parts: the cultural relics exhibition hall and the excavation site display area. The exhibition hall displays 110 pieces of cultural relics, complemented by light boxes and sculptures, presenting the basic situation of the Tianluo Mountain Site to the audience. The display area is designed with the concept of excavating and displaying simultaneously, preserving relics and artifacts at various levels, allowing visitors to experience the archaeological site firsthand and feel the atmosphere of archaeological work.
Opening hours during summer: Monday to Sunday, full day, 09:00-16:30, with last entry at 16:00.
