Tian Tong National Forest Park is located at the foot of Tai Bai Mountain in the eastern suburbs of Yin County, Ningbo City. It is 28 kilometers away from Ningbo and covers an area of 707 hectares. It is one of the three earliest established forest parks in China. Tian Tong Forest Park is a scenic area composed of forests, temples, strange stones, clouds, and streams and waterfalls. There are nine peaks, two streams, five caves, four tombs, as well as ancient and vigorous famous trees and ancient woods. There are also strange natural landscapes such as mysterious caves and deep and illusory canyons. Due to the comprehensive influence of altitude, terrain, vegetation and water bodies, the annual average temperature in the park is 16.2 degrees Celsius. In summer, the temperature here is 3 – 4 degrees Celsius lower than that in the urban area, and the maximum temperature difference in a day reaches 6 degrees Celsius.
