The Tianyi Pavilion houses a collection of nearly 300,000 ancient books, including over 80,000 rare and valuable editions, particularly prized for its Ming Dynasty local records and imperial examination registers.
The opening hours are as follows: from May 1st to October 31st, open Tuesday to Sunday from 08:30 to 17:30; from October 1st to April 30th, open Tuesday to Sunday from 08:30 to 17:00; on Mondays, during May 1st to October 31st, open from 13:30 to 17:30; and from October 1st to April 30th, open from 13:30 to 17:00. On New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, and Qingming Festival, the pavilion is open from 08:30 to 17:00; during Labor Day, National Day, and Mid-Autumn Festival, it is open from 08:30 to 17:30.
