Tianyuangu Valley

Tianyuangu Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. In the valley, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism converge. There is a Maitreya Buddha statue that is 14 meters higher than the Nanshan Giant Buddha. The Confucian Temple is backed by mountains and converges with water. Inside the temple, the momentum is magnificent. Confucius is the teacher of all generations and shines through the ages. Tianyuangu Tourist Area is a sacred place of the three religions, where heaven and earth are in harmony. It is a sacred place of the three religions. A canyon runs through Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. There are Taihe Temple, Wanfo Hall, Bixia Palace, Confucian Temple, etc. There are also famous calligraphy carvings with the culture of ‘harmony’ as the core. It is a place for doing good deeds, praying for blessings and listening to the soul quietly. On the high steps is the golden smiling Buddha. People who go up to worship are in an endless stream. Taihe Temple has strong incense, the Zen courtyard is quiet and secluded, and the Sutra Depository is simple and elegant. The半山Buddha and reclining Buddha create the mysterious and strange unique scenery of Taihe Mountain, making you linger and forget to return.


Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:30.


Preferential policies:


Children: Free for those under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height.


Elderly: Half price for those aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) with valid certificates.


For those aged 70 (inclusive) or above, free with valid certificates.


Students: Half price for full-time undergraduate and below students with valid certificates.


Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel, martyrs’ dependents, dependents of military personnel who died on duty and dependents of military personnel who died of illness, retired military cadres, sergeants (non-commissioned officers), fire rescue personnel are free.


Disabled people: Free for (severely disabled people including one accompanying person) with valid certificates.


Others: High-level talents holding ‘Shandong Huicai Card’ and ‘Yandu Huicai Card’ are free.
