The Tonggu Ling Scenic Area in Hainan is composed of ‘one ridge and two gardens’, namely Tonggu Ling, Mangrove Ecological Park, and Stone Park. It gathers eight major tourism resources including mountains, seas, forests, stones, beaches, rivers, lakes, and islands, integrating tropical evergreen monsoon forests, marine culture, Fubo culture, ecological culture, and love culture. The main peak of Tonggu Ling stands at an altitude of 338 meters and is the easternmost coastal ridge in Hainan Island, known as ‘the first peak of Qiongdong’.

The main peak scenic area of Tonggu Ling offers a view of numerous attractions such as ‘Moon Bay, Wind-Eroded Rock, Crocodile Mouth, Moon Stone, Wangjing Pavilion, Sea-Viewing Corridor, Flying Buddha, Fubo Ancient Path, Fairy Temple, Fubo Kiln, Pearl Gold Top, and Fairy Feather Zen Cave’.

Tonggu Ling Mangrove Ecological Park combines with the original ecological landscape of the Baoling River beach and restores the mangrove ecological environment. In the future, it will make full use of the existing fishing port wharf to build fishing family leisure, homestays, and other tourism projects, creating an ecological tourism destination that integrates ecological sightseeing, scientific research, and sports leisure. Tonggu Ling Stone Park, formed over hundreds of millions of years, is a large-scale sea stone cluster and a rare geological landscape resource in Hainan. It is also a viewing site for Wenchang space launches, where one can appreciate the grandeur and magnificence of space launches.
