Tonglu Museum, situated in the new district of Tonglu County, is a comprehensive museum that offers a rich cultural experience. The museum is thoughtfully divided into three main areas to cater to different visitor needs: lobby leisure, exhibition, and office spaces.
The exhibition area is further segmented into three distinct halls, each showcasing a unique aspect of Tonglu’s history and development:
1. **Tonglu Historical Relics Exhibition**: This hall is dedicated to displaying historical artifacts from Tonglu, dating back to the Neolithic Age and spanning over four thousand years. It offers a glimpse into the ancient history of the region.
2. **Tonglu Modern Revolutionary History Exhibition**: This exhibition focuses on significant historical events that occurred in Tonglu, with a particular emphasis on the challenging revolutionary struggles of the Zhejiang East Guerrilla Column Jinsha Brigade in Xinhe Township.
3. **Tonglu New Achievements Exhibition**: This hall highlights the various accomplishments made by the people of Tonglu in the past two decades, as they have worked to build and beautify their hometown.
Visitors are welcome to explore these exhibits during the museum’s operating hours. From September 23rd to December 31st, the museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00. From January 1st to September 22nd, the hours extend to 17:30 on the same days. Please note that the museum is closed all day on Mondays, except for legal holidays.
